Royal Veterinary College Residency in Laboratory Animal Medicine (United Kingdom)
Residencies are open to veterinary graduates holding a degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. This is a three-year post-graduate programme involving supervised clinical work and applied clinical research. Residents will receive specialised training in laboratory animal medicine while working within the College’s hospitals (or farms/referral facilities where relevant) and will be expected to prepare to sit the examinations for membership of the European College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ECLAM). Residents will also be enrolled onto a Masters of Veterinary Medicine (MVet Med) programme (subject to validation early 2018).
The tax-free stipend will start at £17,500 per annum, increasing by annual increments to £18,500.
